Kaspin video, and does anyone read my blog?

Here is my latest video of kaspin! In this video I wanted to show how kaspin is already learning to go without a bridle. Yes, I have a halter and line on Kaspin, but that is last resort. Kind of a safety net. First I use my eyes, belly button, legs, and if all those fail? Then I pick up the reins and direct the front end. I think I picked up my reins 2 times in this video? I also pointed my arm in the direction I wanted to go, but that is just for humans to know where I was headed to on the video. It's not for Kaspin in anyway. If you noticed when we halted. I didn't need my reins either. I did touch them a bit by accident. But Kaspin already knows that once I sit down and relax my whole body that means stop. Kaspin came from a Haflinger breeder who told me she couldn't stop this horse for nothing! Even in a twisted wire, or a kimberwick bit!! I am very proud of Kaspin and thrilled of how fast he picks up new things. I hope you enjoy! What fun things did you do this past weekend with your equine partners?? And does anyone really read my blog? I am seriously thinking of ending it? Give me your thoughts?? Keep it natural, Janine and Kaspin!!

  1. Hey Janine! Please don't quit your blog!!! I promise I normally read every single post, but I sort of took an unplanned break from blogging in general. :( I'm back though and I will catch up on your blog asap. Please don't quit. I would be so upset. Hugs!

    1. LOL!!! Ok! Yeah, I am not sure where this package all needs to go to get here? So chocolate can be iffy. My area is still about 90 degrees. I don't know what that is in Celsius? Love me!! xoxoxoxo

  4. Please don't quit, I read I swear I do. Loved the video, I can do that with Camryn at a walk. My pasture though isn't trot friendly enough to practice that way. I've been kind of in a riding rut, meaning I haven't been. Still spending time with my darling though.

  8. Kaspin is so smart! I love how he kept a steady trot and was offering to lower his head and how he just stands patiently when you stop. And the whoa is awesome!! So smooth and prompt. :D You're doing awesome with him. Just goes to show what love and patient training can do for a horse who was considered untrainable. :D

  9. I've been away awhile... vacations, kids back at school, house was up for sale... but I am back and I do read it! Struggle to find time now and again to even post on my blog... which I think is boring compared to blogs like yours. :) If you are getting weary, just post less often, but I would miss it if it went bye bye. :)
