  2. Congrats on a great year of horsemanship with your boy. What progress you've made this year. So glad you didn't sell him. When you have a chance, let me know what saddle you're using with him for trail . . . am looking for the perfect trail saddle for my haflinger. Happy Thanksgiving!

    1. Hello, Thanks so much for your kind words. I am also happy Kaspin never sold too:) I just got this trail saddle this past weekend!! My other English saddle that I have is a Parelli fluidity saddle. But it is for arena riding and not for trails but I soooooo love it and feel so balanced in it! So I figured I would try another Parelli saddle. I am now trying the Parelli Crusier that is pictured in the pictures on this post. It seems just as great but I have only been in it once so far(I will ride again today). I also want to trade out the trail stirrups back to regular stirrups. I was not used to the large trail stirrups. I know these saddles are not cheap but they are so nice. I got mine both used. If I like the trail saddle more later?? Then I will probably sell my English fluidity saddle later? I just don't see myself going back and forth between the 2 saddles and I will mainly trail ride Kaspin anyway! Happy Thanksgiving!! 2. So funny J9! I just finished up a trial ride with a cruiser that I got from Parelli . . . I was disappointed . . . really wanted to love it, but I didn't. A nice saddle, but I think I was overestimated the seat size, it was a 16.5 and I was swimming in it. Am also used to the contact I feel w/my fluidity saddle and felt like I was riding on a barrel. Which of course my horse loved b/c she is a barrel! A really nice saddle though. Just didn't love it. So keep me posted on how you do.

    3. How funny! I have a crusier seat 16 and feel like I just make it! I am 125 to 130 pounds and 5'1. My fluidity is 17.5 and it is a tiny roomy on me, but I wanted it that way in case I gain weight as I get older, LOL. I thought the 16 would be big also in the crusier, but it seems smaller. How funny what we all feel. I do have to say the crusier does ride different than the fluidity for sure. I was bummed about that. I was hoping both saddles would ride the same just look different. So yes, I still have to test out the crusier and play with the stirrups, shims, and saddle placement yet. I for sure will keep you posted!! I just hated how I have no D-rings to take anything with me when I trail ride and I love the placement of weight on Kaspin's back is more spread out with the crusier for longer riding times in the saddle. Smiles, J9
